Wow, 4G LTE Service Finally Launched On Airtel Ng Network

Since almost all other networks have upgraded It has always been our dream to experience a network faster than the 3G service on Airtel. Airtel Ng have succeeded in officially launching her superfast 4G LTE network. Yes, I mean super fast, until you test it before you will understand what I'm saying.
At this moment it is available in Ibadan, Lagos and some other few states, its their luck anyway. The service will soon be available for use throughout all states.
If you want to confirm the availability of 4GLTE in your location simply goto your phone's SETTINGS ,tap on MOBILE NETWORKS(cellular networks), now tap on NETWORK OPERATORS finally click on SEARCH NETWORKS.
By allowing it to search it will display the 4G if it's available in your location.

How To Know If You Can Use The Network And How To Start Using 4GLTE Network On Initial Sim

Now, if you are making use of smartphone/devices that have 4G LTE enabled then you're free to use the 4G network.
After confirming it, to start making use of 4G network you will need to carry out a simple task which is called "sim swap" because that your previous sim card was only provisioned to other bands and not on 4G. So, for you not to buy another line I will recommend you to do just a sim swap.

To do a sim swap, kindly visit any Airtel outlet/office with your old sim card and tell them you want to do "sim swap to be eligible for 4G service" . It will be done for you and the 4G network will be active on you sim.
Something sweet is that after the network is active on your sim you will be given a 4GB worth data to test run the 4G network.

You will receive a message from Airtel saying "Welcome to Airtel 4G. You have been credited with 4G trial offer of free 4GB, dial *140# to check. You also get 25% data bonus when you activate data plan from 500 above, for next 3 months.

Yes, that's the good news. We love to hear from you guys..who have started using this fast service?.
